エロール ミフタヒッテン氏は1983年に「ホリデイイン横浜
（現：ローズホテル横浜）」よりホスピタリティ業界のキャリ
アをスタートし、日本国内のホテルおよび海外のリゾート
ホテルでマネージメントに係わりました。
また、1999年より「グアム政府観光局」や「グアムホテル
＆レストラン協会」理事などを歴任いたしました。
当ホテルは、ホスピタリティおよび観光業界での経験が豊富な新総支配人のもと、今後も一層のサー
ビスの品質向上とお客様の立場に立ったホテル運営にスタッフ全員一丸となって取り組んで参ります。

＜略歴＞
幼少の頃より横浜で育ち、横浜インターナショナル・スクール卒業後、
アメリカ合衆国オレゴン州のMerritt Davis Collegeにて経営修士の学位取得。
日本語・英語に堪能。
1983年 ホリデイイン横浜（現：ローズホテル横浜）入社
1984年ヒルトン・インターナショナル東京オフィスに入社
営業、ツアーコーディネーターを担当
1986年 ヒルトン・インターナショナル グアムに異動
営業などを経てアシスタント・フロント・オフィス・マネージャー
1990年 オンワードアガニアビーチホテルに宿泊担当ディレクターとして入社
1991年 同ホテル 副総支配人、翌年、総支配人に昇格
1998年 オンワードビーチリゾート（グアム）にて、ディレクター兼総支配人
2000年 キャッスルリゾーツ＆ホテルズ ミクロネシア地区担当副社長
2001年 ローズ・ホテルズインターナショナル上席副社長
2006年 ソラーレ ホテルズ アンド リゾーツ株式会社入社後、オキナワ マリオット
リゾート ＆ スパ 事業本部長、チサン リゾート 沖縄美ら海の総支配人を兼務
2007年 オキナワ マリオットリゾート ＆ スパ 総支配人
2009年 ロワジールホテル四日市 総支配人
2010年 メルキュールホテル札幌 総支配人就任
※他、1999年よりグアム政府観光局理事、グアム観光審議会を共同設立後
副会長に就任。また、1993年より1999年まで、グアムホテル＆レストラン協会
の理事を担当し、うち3年間会長を務めた。

Erol Miftahittin Appointed General Manager of
Mercure Hotel Sapporo
Effective from March 1, 2010, Erol Miftahittin has been
appointed General Manager of Mercure Hotel Sapporo.
Since beginning his career in 1983 at the Holiday Inn Yokohama, presently Rose Hotel Yokohama, Mr. Miftahittin brings more than 27 years of hotel industry experience from his roles as Regional Vice President Micronesia with Castle Resorts & Hotels, Senior Vice President with Rose Hotels International as well General Manager for Onward Beach Resort Onward Agana Beach Hotel in Guam, Okinawa Marriott Resort & Spa and Loisir Hotel Yokkaichi.
In addition to his past hotel experience, Mr. Miftahittin served as Board of Director for Guam Visitors Bureau and Co- Founder And Vice Chairman of the Guam Tourism Foundation in 1999.
He also served as Board of Director for Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association from 1993-1999 and served as Chairman of the Board in 1995, 1996 and 1998.
Mr. Miftahittin said, “I am excited to join Accor Worldwide to manage Mercure Hotel Sapporo. Sapporo is a beautiful city. I look forward to developing International Hotel with Hokkaido touch that will bring many smiles to our guests.”
As an American born in Tokyo on April 18, 1964, he attended the Yokohama International School from Kindergarten to High School.
After graduation, he obtained an Accounting Degree from Merritt Davis College in Oregon, USA. He is fluent in both English and Japanese.
